I've tried making this yummy slice several times and every time it goes so rock hard that you break teeth trying to eat it!
What am I doing wrong?! Help!!

hmm interesting, im not too sure what you are doing wrong but i know my mars bar slice doesnt go rock hard :confused:

Can I see your recipe?
Do you think having the mars bars melting for too long has anything to do with it? Maybe too much boiling of it?

I can only think that the caramel is turning toffee-like.
You're right.....overheating might take some of the moisture out. I just searched online and they said to use medium heat.
Are you using enough butter?

Don't let it boil. Just let the butter and mars bars melt and mix together until it looks sort of stringy. The caramel is getting to hot and setting hard if you let it boil.
