Where are you Ash when I need you!! I'm making a chocolate cake for a friends birthday in the shape of a bowling pin because he loves bowling. At the moment I've got the cake cooking and considering it's chocolate I thought maybe a white chocolate icing would be nice and then I could do the red stripes with lollies or something.

Any ideas welcome!

Have you iced it yet?

I always like a bit of Cream Cheese icing..it's just has a bit more body and spreads so nicely.

Beat 30g butter and 60g Philly Cream Cheese until creamy. Stir in 1.5 cups icing mixture ( a bit at a time) plus enough milk to make it wettish (a tblspoon or 2). Then add vanilla to taste and colouring as required.

Yummo :chef:

Wow sounds like some really sporty cakes!

Are you going to share?

I love adding cream to my icing it always gives it more body and helps it to spread a little easier.

Rynosmm.. Can you take the cheese in the icing.
