anyone having a elective c/s?

Hi ladies,

I was just wondering if anyone else due in september will be having a c/s?

I had a emergency one with dd and my OB has said I should have a elective c/s but he also said he would be happy for me to vbac if I wanted too. After thinking about it I have decided to go with the elective c/s, not looking forward to recovering with a 3yr old and a newborn though.

I'll be having a 3rd CS with this bub. The first was an emergency, but the second was an elective.

I found the emergency CS much much harder to recover from. The elective was much better - had DS at 6pm, out of bed at 6am next morning. Recovery was much quicker and the whole experience less traumatic, and generally more enjoyable....

I will be having a c/s
With ds had to have an emergency c/s. OB thinks a c/s this time round is a safer option for me so thats what i'll be doing

I'm also having a second C after a first emergency.

Still scared though! It's strange because I thought I'd actually had a good experience last time and this time should be easier due to being elective, but I'm suddenly remembering everything in detail.. Oh well, they have to come out somehow don't they and there isn't an easy way.

Hi sorry to gatecrash :o but im due on the 3rd Oct and i will be having a c-section so i will probably be having my baby in Sept. Wishing you all the best

I'm due on Sept 29. Have been posting in the October thread as I was originally due on October 3. I will probably be having a caesarian.

Hey ladies, do any of you guys have c/s dates yet? They have given me a rough idea that it will be around the first week of september, but I havent been booked in or got a date.

I will be having my 3rd C/Section in September. I am due on the 23rd, but most likely to have the baby on the 16th at this stage.

my cesear has been booked in for the 22 Sept :yelclap:at 39 weeks. I had a emergency last time so was offered one this time. 10 weeks today not long now.
