View Full Version : Why the change?
My DD is almost 6 mths old and for the last week her sleeping has gotton soooo much worse. She will barely go down for more than 30 mins a time during the day and sometimes that's all she's sleep ALL DAY! At night she's now waking 3 hrly and I'm not sure if it's because she's hungry or what? I have resorted to of late bringing her downstairs around 2am and popping her in her cradle swing. She goes down almost immediately when I do that but I don't want to rely of this. Any and all suggestions are most welcome!
Oh..wanted to add as well, she's a beatiful happy smily, laughing little girl. Not a cranky pants at all. Should I be worried?

My boy started doing this when my milk supply was dropping. But he'd scream most of the time. There are different techniques to teach them to sleep longer, 1 being leave them to self settle. If they don't seem to be hungry every time they wake up and they're not due for a feed let them lay there and see if they'll drift off again. Soon they'll learn to sleep through. Worked with one of the ladies in my mums group.

I was about to post the same thing! my DS is 6.5months and wakes up 2 times a night but only once to feed and he usually goes straight back to sleep, so that isnt a huge problem.
But the thing is he hardly sleeps during the day! today it was 25min!!! i BF him every 2 hours and have started him on Pear in the morning and pumpkin at night, but nothing helps.
Adasmum I hope someone has answers for us!
