Hi Everyone
We're due on 15 May and as we've decided to keep our baby name a secret from friends and family, I was hoping for some opinions from all of you on our baby name shortlist.
So far we've got Harry (although wondering whether its getting a little popular), Henry, Ned and Nash.
Second name will be Peter - tradition in the family.
What do you think?

I think Harry is getting a bit popular. We were thinking of Harry at one stage. NSW Birth Deaths & Marriages have just released the list of popular names for 2007. Not sure about other states? Maybe have a look at where they rate. I don't think Harry was in the top 10 from memory.
I like Ned also.

Well, Harry is technically a nickname for Henry - so you could name him Henry but call him Harry.
And Ned is technically a nickname for Edward - could you name him Edward Peter (I think that sounds really good) but call him Ned?

sorry to thread-crash, but I just LOVE the name Nash. We have a little boy in our playgroup named Nash, and she converted the "round and round the garden" rhyme to this: "round and round the garden, like a nashy pear! " It was soooo cute!
He's a lovely little boy too. :p
Good luck in choosing.

Another 'mixture' idea- I think the name Hamish is really cute for a bubba, and a good strong name for a man.

I like Nash, but think of Nash Bridges (off Miami Vice, not that there's anything wrong with that - Don Johnson was a spunk back in the day ;)). I also like Ned
I like Nate too, but you didn't mention that one, just thought I'd throw it out there!
