Huggies Newborn bulk pack..cost?

Hi girls,
I often see the huggies bulk pack (108) nappies on sale but have never taken any notice of the price.
Just wanted to know how much they normally cost and what is a good 'on sale' price for them. I always like to save a few $$ and stock up when things are on sale.

Woolworths get them for $30 a box a few times a year, otherwise Big W have every day low price of around $35.95 :)

I would think that it would vary.. but in the supermarkets around here the boxs od Huggies can retail around $40... Toys R Us, Big W and Kmart usually have them cheaper normal price around $36.. and TrUs sale prices are usually around $32 per box.

I was in Safeway the other day, and thinking about starting to buy nappies, and I looked at the big box- they were "on sale" for $36, down from around $48... :confused: :eek:

So either nappies cost more where I am (yeah, right :rolleyes: ) or my Safeway is trying to rip me off.... Glad I saw this thread!

the best sale price in a retail store I have seen is $29.95 - Coles/Woolworths, Big W and Toys R Us do them at that price a few times a year each (all bulk Huggies boxes are the same price - you just get less in a box as the size increases)

I think the highest I've ever seen a box is $42

I think anything under $36 is a good price - if the supermarkets don't have them on special then I will go to Big W, the chemist or Kmart as they are generally under $36

I wouldn't buy more than 2 newborn size boxes to start with though or if you do then keep the receipts so you can swap them for the next size up if needed

oh and the next size up from Newborn is Infant and for whatever reason Huggies don't do that size in a box (only bulk pack)

and sometimes the bulk packs are cheaper than getting a box (2 bulk packs make one box so just double the price to see how it compares. ie 2 x $17 = $34 so that's a good price)

ps. always keep your Huggies barcodes from the nappies/wipes/lotions etc as Huggies always have great giveaways where you send in barcodes & just pay the postage for the item back to you - check their website :)
