For the past three months we have been actively seeking an egg donor and it is our great pleasure that our special Angel has opened her arms at the end of the tunnel. We are forming a beautiful friendship and will be meeting with her and family at end of April. We have already commenced the process, I am taking the pill and our Angel will be commencing shortly. It's all very exciting. :yelclap:
Our journey in seeking an egg donor has not been too easy. We have had our disappointments along the way. A word of advice to ladies who are currently or considering seeking an egg donor, your instincts and persistence will lead you to your Angel. Do not give up you will experience heartache but this will only make you stronger and you will find your angel.
When we first embarked on egg donor option (nearly 1 yo) I was terrified I did not know what to expect and was afraid to meet with the egg donor it was traumatic to say the least. But, over time you speak with some lovely ladies and I believe whole heartedly that the forums Aussie Egg Donor, Bub Hub have been inspirational and helped us along the way. The ladies on these forums are so loving, caring and genuinely want to support and help us in making our dream come true. I am honoured to be communicating with such wonderful ladies and am forming friendships that will last forever.
DH and I look forward to a wonderful friendship with our Angel and her family she is so beautiful. I have an elder sister and now I have gained a younger sister and it feels very good and she feels as though she has known us forever. Will keep you posted of further developments upon our return at end of April.
