All the recent discussion on cloth nappies made me wonder.......
Are other mums finding it as hard as I seem to, to find clothes which cater for a cloth clad bubby bum?
Which brands do people generally find generous in the butt? Which ones are not so generous?
I have found Pumpkin Patch not to be too ample in the butt in some styles, but OK in others (but then I have found their sizing inconsistant in their children's wear, too, so that does not surprise me).
Marquise have generally been good in the butt, I've found.

DD's wardrobe is mostly pumpkin patch and I have issues with them not fitting properly over her nappies as well! It really annoys me!
She has some Kinou pants that are perfecttttt for over cloths but they're 'one of a kind' pants and quite costly so she only has 2 pairs in her current size.
Interesting topic though, if a certain brand is good quality and seems to fit over clothes a lot then I might have to have a look into them!

I was actually thinking about this today, I have found Target brands to be more, ummm, generous, in the behind for his little cloth clad tush... Big W brands make him look like he is wearing licra bike pants!!

Knitted shorts or long pants. In 100% wool, so they are warm in winter, cool in summer, waterproof, absorbant, rarely need washing, but do need lanolising. They are made for cloth bums, so they fit. Heres a pic of a pair I knitted Bridie..

And a pair I knitted for a friend, undie style, lol

They are great, all bridie wore when she was in nappies.

I find Target clothes fine.
We have never shopped at Pumpkin Patch so have no idea.
Big W i find are ok but maybe ive been lucky (?) & some Kmart are ok also.
Ive learnt to be able to see by looking at pants as to whether they fit or not worse case scenario i try them on him LOL.
But i guess ive been lucky also in that having a big bub who needs a bigger size due to length means the nappy fits no dramas.
I"m the same allyoo - Jack needs lots of length - so his cloth butt is usually accomodated .. his is 4 months and already in size 0 .... (and some of them are getting snug!!!)
- I find that those cute little stripey (I LOOOVE stripes) BONDS jumpsuits have lots of stretch it them... and I never need to pull them to get the snaps done up - they seem to sit well over the nappy... (they are rarely on special though...)
I also shop lots at big W - coles baby - best and less - and target (pumpkin patch / oshkosh are usually hand me downs) - but I just make sure I buy one size too big - Jack has grown pretty quickly - so I never buy the size he is actually wearing...

Ditto I just buy one size bigger than Oz already is and we have no problem regardless of the brand!;)

Someone gave me a few pairs of Bonds stretchy terry pants and these are fantastic as they stretch so much. I have the whole fitting problem with so many clothes. It's very annoying as manufacturers seem to cater to disposable bottoms only.

I find Target girls pants to be TINY, but Baby world (Myer) seems quite generous. I don't know about for boys though.
