Anyone know why it's recommended to move from bottle to a sippy cup for milk drinks from 12 months? My DS uses a straw cup for water, but bottles for his two milk feeds. I've had no success getting him to drink more than a few sips of milk from straw or spout cups. I figure I won't bother unless there's a really good reason for it.
I'm unsure why i guess its cause it can ruin there teeth if they have the bottle for long periods of time.
Its also not advised to put a bub to bed with a bottle for the same reason.
But u do what is best for u and ur bub my dd is 15 months and still having 2 bottles a day.
We are in the prosess of trying to replace the bottle with a sippy cup.

My son didn't stop having a bed time bottle until he was 3. My nephews 2 and he still has a bottle. I've no idea why they say this because the dentist say's DS's teeth are good. Just another way of telling us mums what to do.
