2 guys, 13 years together looking for TS

Hi, my partner and I have been together for 13 years and hope one day to become Dads.
Were looking for a TS to make our dream a reality...Does anyone have any information that might direct us in the right path.

A TS is a Traditional Surrogate... A lady willing to carry a baby for us using her egg and my sperm. Hopefully one day soon it will come true. Thanks for your post. xx

I never knew things like that ever occured.. Wondering who would raise the baby. If it is the Mothers own egg?

This happens more than you probably realise, some women are content with their own brew and like being pregnant and are willing to help others who cant have their own children eg; women who have had a hysterectomy, severe endo and even two guys wanting to be Dads. They carry the child and hand it over to the intended parents.
They are very special ladies who are willing to do this, I know its probably hard to get your head around, it was for us as well, but it does happen and I'm glad it does.

I know that quite a few guys in Melbourne have become Dad's using a surrogate. However, I believed that most of them had to find surrogates overseas as Melbourne has quite tight surrogacy laws. Is overseas an option for you?

Just to add some info to what Scout said - lots of gay men have gone overseas to the US and used a surrogacy and fertility clinic called Growing Generations. If you look them up on the net you can request an information pack be sent.

Did you guys see the documentary on SBS called making babies? The two men on that had two children through Growing Generations using the same egg donor and same surrogate. I think it's pretty expensive - but might be an easier option than finding a TS in Australia.

Good luck guys - I do suspect that your chances of finding a traditional surrogate in Australia might be limited because of the legalities....but you never know your luck.

Have you tried the Surro Australia group on Yahoo?
