take to your GP to have signed. make about 10 photocopies - keep the original!!!!

send a copy (or take one) to medicare and centrelink - just to be sure!

even if you only miss 1 vax on the schedule, you need to fill in the CO form

You can fill it in straight away there is no set time to do it,id do it now and have it sent to medicare then you can just go along in the future and have whichever vaxes you want done and your blue book filled in. Then for the ones you dont do you are already covered if you dont go on time without all the harrassing letters.;)

So I could do that even though he's only 12 months.

What is on the form? Do I have to explain why I chose not to do some vaccinations?

Yes you can do it whenever you like up till before they are 18mnths which is when they wont pay you after then but id just go along and do it now then its done.
The form is just a Conscientious Objectors form,it doesnt state whether you are selecting or not and medicare does not care if you are selecting or not they only care what their files say and if you arent up to date then their files say you have just not bothered but if the form is signed then their files say you are fine and pay her.
The form does not ask whether you are selcting or not you just sign it and the doc signs and its sent to medicare.
Then whichever vaxes you want your child to have you simply go get them and you know then yourself what they've had and your blue book will state what they've had.
They really couldnt care less its all for their records to tell you the truth.
And in the future if you find you are having difficulty with any preschools or anywhere for that matter that question you as to why your child got some and not others in your blue book, then just bull s#*t to them and say because he had a reaction and the doctors recommended he not have those particular vaxes for ingredients reasons.
People are happy with that response because its a doc who said not to have them.lol;)

But thats off topic and its no-ones business what you decide to do with your child anyways. Hence the co form.:D
