I found that I was counting the actual weeks for a while after DS was born.
He was born on the 3rd Nov 06 so I counted 4 weeks after that and said he was 4 weeks old etc...

After a few months I got confused so then I started to count the actual proper birthday by the calendar eg, the 3rd of each month he was a month older.

I hope that makes sense and I haven't confused you any further :D

not a silly question really.

you use the 27th every month

I was confused with this when pregnant, they say it's 9 months which is the same as 40 weeks. work that one out. I think it's every 3 months there is a 5 week month and 28 days is 4 weeks so it's a bit over each month anyway

god that's confused me:dizzy:

I counted in weeks until about 8 weeks, but then started saying "he's 2 months old" after that because it got too confusing. Now I round his age to the nearest month. Like at the moment I say he's 14 months old, which he was on the 8th (his b'day is the 8th Feb).

My little womble will be 16 weeks tomorrow. I still say weeks. I count him as having aged another month on the 29th of every month. He was born 29/12/07. In months I guess he is about 3.5 months, or just a bit more.
