Overnight stay

hi...

i just have a quick question....

I'm booked in for sunday to be induced.... the docs said ill have the balloon inserted to start the contractions??? I'm just concerned as no-one has explained to me what the procedure is..


also... will my husband be able 2 stay with me while i have this done? I'm booked in at the royal hobart ...

when i had my 1st son, they sent my husband home, and while i was in hospital by myself i went into labour, and he nearly missed our son being born so i dont want the same thing happening again. I want him there with me.

can anyone help?

Ring up and ask them would be my advice... every hospital seems to have a different policy.

I was lead to believe I was only going in to get gel not staying the night- which is what ended up happening. If I had known I was staying the night I probably would have planned my day differently.

Anyhow really they should be explaining everything in detail to you so you know what your doing especially with a little one already here needing a carer :yes:

I stayed overnight when I had the gel and DH was allowed to stay with me. Our room had a fold out sofa bed and they gave him pillows and blankets. :thumbsup:
