Hi I need some advice from those who may have been there before...
I currently work only one day a week in the office, the rest of the time I work from home.
I had my DD in childcare from 6 months old to 9.5 months old. I pulled her out as she was not happy with being left and she kept on getting sick. Basically she would cry when I left, and would not have any normal sleeps so as well as being upset she would be tired and grumpy.
I have a good friend who nows looks after her, she used to work in childcare and has a DD the same age.
Anyway nothing has changed. The first week was great, DD slept and ate properly but has now figured out that I am leaving and screams her lungs out when I take her to my friends place. She wont sleep, is clingy and crys a lot. and yes she still gets sick.
I feel terrible leaving her, but I need to continue working. If I dont go in at least one day a week, I dont get ANY work.
Has anyone been able to get over this problem?
