Hey i was just wondering who ever said that it was impossible to fall pregnant while breastfeeding? Well whoever it was they are giving women the wrong idea!! I fell pregnant two since since breastfeeding!

Yep.. very true.. ds1 was 6 months and i was fully BF when i fell preg with ds2 :)

I know sooooo many women it happens to.
My OB said as long as I was fully breastfeeding no solids, no bottles I would be fine, and if I wasn't ..... "well would that be so bad, you want another baby don't you?" :laughing: he then went on to say that is how he and his wife conceived their second child :laughing: :laughing: ........needless to say haven't relied on bf alone

My friend was on the mini pill and breastfeeding and still fell pregnant!! :eek:

It's important to know your fertility signs- you can still ovulate and not have a period when you are fully bf.

I was told bf was only effective as birthcontrol when bubs is feeding 3-4hrs, including overnight, and didn't use a dummy or thumb to suck, and no solids.

I haven't heard of any close friends it happening too, i would like to fall pregnant again, but i am BF, and want to continue BF till bubs doesn't want it anymore. Also, by April next year we will be TTC again anyways.

U should try again even while breastfeeding coz it worked with me ... twice! lol

yep i fell too while breastfeeding.. actually it didnt take very long either.. about 12 weeks or so after i gave birth i was pregnant again.!!
