results when BF?

Im a breast feeding mother of a 6mth old baby.
and I was wondering can BF affect the result of a pregnancy test???

I wouldn't think so. I read that you can still have HCG in your system for a little while after you give birth, but I think 6 months is well clear of that period.

ds1 was 6 months old and i was fully BF.. when i did a home preg test and it was positive.. which resulted in ds2:D

well see I have taken a test and it says neg :crying:
even though I know I jumped the gun a bit (im only a week and a bit OD at the moment) but I just have that feeling like I KNOW I am ... (but Im probably not)

hmmmm shutup!!!!!!!!:banghead: :laughing: I have to wait another 20 days till my dr will do another pg blood test! (Last one was negative, but I think they were wrong)!;)
