poo question.....

Hi

when a BF baby has solids (currently on one meal a day ... vegies & rice cereal) are they supposed to be pooing everyday?? cause she WAS but then didnt for a day ??? I was wondering if she was ok????

My DS is FF...but i've found that he poos more regularly since we've started solids. The poos are smaller and more firmer...sorry for the detail. He seems to go at least twice a day.

Some foods can constipate....like apple and bananna.

Poos always change when you start solids. Usually more solid, and also smellier if bub was solely bf before. Frequency may also change so it may become normal now for your bub to go a day or two between poos. If she's straining or uncomfortable with it then you can try a remedy for constipation, but if not then she's more than likely fine. .
