Hi ladies,
I have an embarrassing question, and sorry in advance if TMI...!

For the last several weeks I have been getting a clear runny discharge, around 1 - 2 tablespoons or so amount-wise, enough to feel wet in the panties region,,,
It usually happens mid-morning and often occurs when bending, getting up/ moving etc.
I was rather freaked out when it first happened, as it is quite runny, and I was frightened that I had lost control of my bladder...
Is this leaking fluid, and is it considered normal at my stage of pregnancy (I am approx 23 wks)

Thanks for any replies!

yip it is normal to get excess vag excretions, I get it really bad when preg and have to wear panty liners from about 12wks onwards

just make sure it doesn't smell, and is definatly clear, if it turns quite white then you might have a infection there like thrush or somthing

also if it starts smelling like seamen or quite sweet it could be your waters leaking, which can happen early for some people

if your ever worried just ask who ever is taking care of your during your pregnancy or ring the hosp

Hi
I had the same problem from about week 30. I thought it might be leaking fluid because it was too watery to be discharge and too clear to be urine and had no smell. I went into hospital at week 36 to make sure it wasn't amniotic fluid as I had quite a bad leak that day. tursn out it is just watery discharge. but if your unsure I would get it checked just in case.

As far as I'm aware sounds normal to me. I actually had something similar around the same time and asked my obs about it. He said it was very normal for this type of discharge to occur. Of course, if it changes and becomes concerning then always get it checked out.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, and enjoy every second of it 'coz before you know it, it will all be over. I never thought I'd say this but boy I miss being pregnant :D. When I was pregnant I so wished the time away as I was too eager to meet my lil' man. But now I realise that when pregnant you have this very special closeness to bubs that you'll never have once they are born IYKWIM.

Anyway, sorry to sidetrack, just wishing you lots of good vibes :goodvibes: for your spesh time :flowerz:.
