Pinching pains

Im nearly 38 weeks pregnant and getting this pinching pain in the top of of my thighs... like where your undie line is. Its not all the time but probably a couple of times a day for periods of time. Its when i go to walk, it shoots into me and i am stopped dead in my tracks... oh i hurts!!

Does anyone else get this? Or know why it happens?

Could be that bubs is putting pressure on your siattic (did I spell that right?) nerve. I had alot of discomfort in the same area with my second bubs and the doctor told me this was due to this being my second pregnancy and bubs was sitting lower as everything had been pre-streched...

I had that with both my dd's and it was cause they were pressing on the nerves in the top of the thighs and i do remember how much that hurt,it stopped me in my tracks too. :(

I had the same thing during my pregnancy. My Ob said it was the pressure of the baby!!! Ouch, I remember how much it hurt, it would stop me in my tracks too!!:hugs:

OK cool now i dont feel so silly hehe. Its not a huge all over pain but gee it kicks in!! I thought it might be because of that... being this far along, bub is nearly at its heaviest so its gotta be leaning on something down there hey!! Thanks everyone for your help!!

I remember getting this same pain it felt like my pubic hair was being pulled out i went to the loo to check but nothing had been pulled out.I was so confused as to what it was but i never figured that out just another pregnancy thing i guess.
