This may seem a strange Q but i forgot to ask my doc on this.

EJ has a thrush nappy rash anyway i have hydrozole(sp?) cream for her face (another rash) that he said i can do a 50/50 mix with the thrush cream that i had already (Clozole)

Anyway hydrozole tube says 2-3 times a day - the clozole as an adult dose is once using an applicator a day.

Cause im using the clozole in the crease of her bum (and around the peritineum cause thats red also) would i then use it 2-3 times a day or use it as per the adult wayof once a day (not using it in the same way as adult of course)?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Hydrozole is a anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal cream. I would think that it used on it's own sparingly 3 times per day would be fine.

But then again, I'm not a doctor...:o

Thanks.. The doc said to use the clozole (anti thrush) on her but if i liked i could 50/50 with the hydrozol which is actuially for a facial rash she has but would help both - its clearing up fast though which is good:)

When my DD has had it I've just used anti fungal cream on its own (I used Clonea) and it seemed to clear fine. I used it probably 5 ish times a day. Don't know if that's any help :o

When DS has thrush I tend to use the hydrozole and a specific antifungal cream and alternate each nappy change. But I don't put the hydrozole on more than three times a day.

I also like to put the cream on and then give DS a good amount of nappy free time, which also allows the cream to "soak in". And then I put a zinc cream on and then his nappy.
