Hi, my name is Mel, and Im looking for pregnant women who are interested in having a midwifery student throughout their pregnany and birth.
I am in my first year at Flinders University, and as part of our course, we are to find 'follow through women' who would like an extra support person during this time.

I attend 4 antenatal visits, the birth, and 2 post natal visits, all of which I am simply observing how the midwives work.
As well as learning from women and their experiences, I am there to support the woman in any way I can, such as giving her nurmerous massages during labour etc.
I attended a follow through's birth 2 weeks ago, and she said she was very thankful for having me there, and would be more than happy to refer me to people.
