Truckie partners

I am looking to find other mums who have husbands/partners who are truck drivers that are away for days on end to chat to. :ecomcity:
How do you keep your relationship working & how do you deal with people who knock the lifestyle? :kiss:

i am desperatly trying to get my truckie DP to go interstate lol!

Just remind people that he must be doing this for a reason, to provide for his family, and if he is willing to sacrifice time with them to provide for their future, it makes him more of a man than many of the other dead beat dads.

Hey ChilliPepperMum,

my hubby isn't a truckie, but he is in the Navy. He will be home on Tuesday, after being away for 6 weeks. Woohoo, am getting excited! Anyway, i just wanted to say, I know how it is to have your DH go away for long periods of time, and i get people saying, how do u deal with it? And doesn't it get lonely without him around. Uh, yeah, course it does! But like u, my Dh is doing it to put food on the table and for us to have a fairly comfy life. Anyway, perhaps if u ever want to swap notes, look me up. lol:thumbsup:
