Hi Everyone,

I am 24 years old and I have a 5month old baby named Tyler. At present I live in New Zealand, but we are moving over to the gold coast in May and would love to meet other people with children similar ages as I defatienly do not want to feel housebound once I get there - it will make me go crazy. It would be great to discover child friendly activites to do etc... and to make some contacts before we get there.

Thanks eveyrone for making me feel so welcome. I am moving into a subdivision in the burleigh area? I think. We are intially staying with family but hope to become independant asap.
I am really looking forward to the move but at the same time I am ver nervous, will be great to keep in touch with all of you so that i do have some form of contact with people when i get over there.

I moved to GC with my fiance in Dec,when our son was 7 weeks:eek:
We too stayed with family in Burleigh LOL,good luck if ur staying with inlaws hehe.

We live in Hamilton, I am in my final year at univeirsity but have discoveredit istoo full on studying with a 5month old baby so I am taking at least one semester off. I hope to finish my last few papers at Bond univeirstiy in the nearish future. I am quite nervous about the move but am really looking forward to it at the same time. I hear opporturnities over there are endless and I know it will be the right decision once we get there

Bond uni is a nice university :) I have a few friends that went there and though it was great. Lots of international students go there as well.

Hey Mumma - That is fantastic news that you live nearby!!!,i'll definately add you to my msn so hopefully i'll get to know you a little better before i get over there as i defiantely would love to meet up. You must be rushed off your feet with three children, wow i admire you completely!!I never realised how demanding kids could be until i had tyler and hes only 5months!!. Hes just starting to get to the age where he doesn't like not having me in his view so hes learning how to thrown his little tantrums which are actually very funny!!lol.

Bepibarina - Great to hear of someone thats been to Bond -its defaintely a realistic option for me in the future.

Yeah me too, i am starting to count down the days till we move now...have got lots to do before i go but we will get there. I have just returned from a holidy in fiji which was absoutlely great!!!
