View Full Version : My Midwife is officially BOOKED :D

I just called my IM and confirmed that I will be using her midwifery services when my baby is birthed in December - I am SO excited and so relieved. I feel like a massive weight has been lifted now that I have confirmed what we're doing - and I feel like I can now move forward and enjoy this pregnancy :goodvibes:

Wow - I'm actually having a baby :eek: :party:

I think meeting the RIGHT IM made a massive difference. It's not that I doubted the first IM's experience, but I guess the IM who I'm going with is just soo lovely! She is like a mother figure and I trust her completely. I love that she was able to make herself at home in my house when she came to visit, and hang out in the kitchen whilst I made tea for us.

She is also being extremely flexible with our payment schedule; she doesn't want/need a cent til we receive our baby bonus which is a MASSIVE help. She is also happy to write out whatever accounts I need to claim PHI before I pay her as well. So helpful! :hugs:

At the end of the day all she wants is to see another woman have a happy homebirth - and the $ isn't a big deal to her; which makes me happy because I know where her priorities are :goodvibes:

Thats how i was when i met our Doula .... Just comfy & knew it was right unlike all the others i had talked to or met !
