I'm thinking of taking my little dude along, just for something to do... he's a size 0.
If the queues are too long or Bodhi gets too grumy (coz he'll be missing his nap), we will just go home!
I'd love to enter him, but don't really have my heart set on it ro anything.

Seriously Oscar's mum - when I saw they had to sit still for a period of time ... the coffee nearly spurted out my nostrils.

I'm probably going but I want to wait and see what the Sydney people say...I'm really not up for taking a 3.5 year old and a newborn and queuing for hours unless its all pretty quick...does anyone have any specific details about what happens? Supermum you mentioned having to sit still for a period of time?? I have no idea if my son has the temperament I mean show me a 3 year old that is happy to wait around for hours without anything to do!!!

Apparently, we will have to line up and wait our turn like good mummies... when we get to the register desk, we fill out a form, a polaroid is taken of your little one... and thats it... all over.
It's first in, first served, so there is a possibility of missing out... :(

The more I think about it, the more anxious I get!!
Who am I kidding... my little boy is not going to wait in a queue AND sit for a photo aND be happy about it...

Thanx for the info Belinda.. I'll come along and check it out. I have 2 boys and they are size 0 & 4 so one in each.

I'd like to catch up with other BUB HUBERS for a coffee and a chat too if anyone is interested. Then (depending on my boys) hit the shops:D

i will be there but depending on DD's mood as to whether i will stay if the queue is long
maybe we should tie something to our prams so we know of other bubhubbers in the queue?

I recently took my son to a Huggies casting. It was our first time at something like that and I was quite surprised with how impersonal it seemed.

Mostly though, when I took my gorgeous little patient angel away after it was all over, I realised that they hadn't really paid any attention to him. He was just another picture on a table of many many photos.

I felt so guilty for taking him. How do you explain to a child why they weren't chosen ? So....we went out for hot chippies and decided not to do it again.

I hope you all have a MUCH better experience !:fingerscrossed:

OK. I'm going with my size 0 DD.

I am hoping to get there early & will tie a purple ribbon on my pram handle, so if you see me (brown pram) come & say HI! I will do the same if I see any other ribbons!

I am probably going to take my mum with me.

(PS: I won't be on bubhub for a while as my hard drive crashed!:crying: I am at my mum & dad's at the moment.)

I'll be there too.. i have a little blue stroller and will tie a pink ribbon to one of the handles.... My little girl will be in a pink dress with a red skivvy and red tights... (i'll probably be the only one there without a child dressed in bonds!)

Someone please look out for me i'm a bit shy about going up to people! BUT i really wanna meet some other bubhubbers!!!!!!

Hi everyone,

Ill be going with my 14mth old son. Probably get there early so he can have his sleep while we wait. That's the plan anyway, whether it works that way ill just have to wait and see how we go. I have a green valco jogger and ill keep an eye out for all the prams with ribbons on them. Not sure how long i can stay as i have to go to work in the afternoon. anyways see you there:smiliedance:
