I am having a bad day, AF arrived today, and I guess I've been holding on to that ridiculous hope of getting pregnant naturally without needing IVF. I just want to get started, and when my initial bloods came back they showed that my rubella immunity was fading and that I need a booster shot, and I cant TTC until 3 months after that. That sets me back until July! I am just feeling so frustrated and hopeless today. :gloomy:

Hi there, sorry you are having such a crappy time. I feel your pain. And then finding out about the rubella must have been so upsetting. I hate having days like that. But you have to remember that after all this you will one day be holding your beautiful baby in your arms and this will all be a distant memory. We are always here if you wanna chat hun xoxoxoxox:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Hi Hunnybunny
I am sorry to hear that you are having a bad day. The TTC journey can be one that is very trying and can test the most strongest of people. It is unfair that when you want something so badly, and would give anything in the world for it, that it could be so difficult to obtain. All I can say is that in one way, shape, or form, all the ladies on these threads have experienced similar feelings at some time and that you have come to a great place for support.
As for your rubella levels, whilst this is a speed bump in your journey, I guess it is a very important thing to get sorted. I guess better to know now than to have problems when you get your BFP. Of course I am telling you something that you would already know, I am sure!!
Chin up chic!! You will get there, as we all will!!! It may just take a little longer.... :hugs:

Thankyou, its nice to have somewhere to vent where people understand! I think the best thing for me tonight is to go and tuck myself into bed, go to sleep and hope tomorrow is a better day.

Hi Hunnybunny
I just recently had my rubella booster shot and my GP advised me there is new evidence claiming you only have to abstain for 1 month rather then the 3 months they previously recommended. My FS also confirmed this.
It's very new so maybe your GP wasn't aware of this yet.
Good luck :hugs:
