Hey all,

Just interested (not that I want them back) BUT...

that time of the month - when does it come back????

My litten is 6.5 months and I am still breastfeeding.

I would love to know too my bub is 9 1/2 mths old and still nothing. I expected that as soon as I dropped off a couple of bf's for solids that something would change. but nothing yet???? bit disconcerting to not know when to expect it.

My daughter has just turned twelve months old & I am still breastfeeding even while being pregnant :rolleyes: but i got my period back again straight away when Summer was born so i cant help. I wish i didnt get mine back :(

mum&bub - i guess everyone is different. some straight away - others like fee - who knows!!!

Sorry i cant really help either i got mine back 6 weeks after my daughter was born:thumbsdown: . She's 3 mths now and im still fully beastfeeding. I wish i was like you ladies, but mine have come back hard and strong.

I finished breastfeeding my DD when she was 9/12 - 10 months old and my periods didnt come back until she was about 12 months old! :smiliedance:
Oh, and for the record they were heaps better! Very regular!

wonderful all the things women have to look forward to...... I wasn't prepared for the 6 weeks of bleeding from birth until a couple of week before the birth and now my like clockwork 3 day duration, no pain periods could well be a thing of the past too. yeah!!! lucky us.

my period came back just as i had got down to one breastfeed a day and was getting ready to wean - nearly a year after spencer was born. the first one was heavy and my legs ached but the rest have been fine. i've never had heavy periods.

Liv is 7 months and I am still bf, no sign yet of them returning. They can't take their sweet time for all I care, no in a hurry at all.

Hi all, i was much the same, i got them back at 6.5 wks adn they have been so much heavier than before. :thumbsdown: I hadn't expected them for ages as i am fully breastfeeding, but we're all different. Wish i was lke you ladies.

Sorry I cant help you as I didnt BF and mine came back in 2mths after birth, but I jjust have to say your bub is so cute!!!:)

So glad you raised, mine haven't returned and bubs is nearly 4 months. Still fully bf. My doctor put me on the mini pill and when I asked when I would get back periods she said I should soon, but still haven't after 3 packets!! I think my doctor might not be the best doctor as she said 'oh come back next month, maybe you are pregnant' :eek: Now I know it is just normal :)
