Greens

Just a quick question re greens pockets.

I can use them as a cover instead of a pocket nappy right?

If i do, do i change it with each wet nappy or can it go a little longer?

Also a side question instead of starting another thread, we're going to the easter show & was wondering if i should just get some disposables for the day as we'll be out from about 6am till 6pm?

hmm you decision with the sposies for the show - I occasionally but them... but really dont like the way they cut into Jack's legs ... as long as you and bubs are happy - go for it...

- re green's at night time... hmm mI haven't used them as a cover - there is no reason why you could try though (makes a very expensive couver at $23 each!!!) - you would probably have to change the cover at each change due to the fabric inner - it would get wet... :rolleyes:

fleece is fantastic for night nappies - I haven't tried them yet - but I know that bits for bots does fleece pockets... (I'm seeing Donna again soon and I have asked her to bring one so I can have a look!!! ) - Sandra's stuffables does them too ...

- I personaly would just splurge and buy a few good covers :laughing:

I agree with Jenny I would buy covers and use the Greens as nappies.

As for the show you could take 2 wet bags, put clean nappies in one and dirty nappies in the other. We are going away for the weekend and it's my first time travelling with cloth the whole time (always had sposies as back up but not this time). I've made a huge wet bag for all the dirty ones and will pack an overnight bag with the clean ones. If you don't want to carry around the extra load and you feel comfy with it then go with the sposies (can't believe I actually wrote that!!!!!!!!!!!:D)

Thanks for that. I just heard you could use greens as covers, but it is a waste.

About the show, its just that i'll have MJ in a sling all day(pram + train = bad. Dont own a stroller), plus carrying other stuff like showbags etc. Also, i dont have a wetbag :o

Might get a bag of Baby Love which is what i used to use & give the rest away :)
