Hi, we've got a wedding in Gladstone on the 10th may, so will drive up on Friday9th and then thinking of going to Rocky on the 11th.

Money is tight so wondering if anyone knows of accommodation that is cheap. It'll be DH, me and the boys. We'll take a portacot for Max and Jack needs a bed.

Any advice would be great

TIA

I'd guess an onsite cabin/van would be your cheapest option unless a relative has a caravan in their back yard

Yeah sorry i cant help much lived here 27 years, but have no idea what the price of motels etc are, i too would say something in a caravan park would be your cheapest option, if you are racq member go and get a racq accommodation guide they sometimes have cheap accommodation listed there or go to www.wotif.com they can be very helpful too, i have used them many times before.

Rnjoy the wedding though, hope its nice weather for you especially if its in a park.

Hi, when we first moved here we spent quite a few nights in motels around gladstone. It seems to be pretty standard to pay around the $90 - $100 a night for a motel. We stayed in one at tannum sands in beach avenue that was this price but also had laundry and kitchen facilities in the room (and pay tv).

other than that maybe check the RACQ accom guide it always seems pretty thorough.
