Ok bubs has had a really red raw bum of late ( gotta love teething & an upset tum all at once yay  ) so ive been lathering on the cream to help may have to see a doctor about it but my main problem is this !
Cause ive been layering the cream on i end up with it all over the nappy & then when i wash it even on a full hot wash its still there !!!!!
Whats with that ????
Should i be rinsing it off with something first ???
Ive tried doing a pre wash rinse through the washing machine but this hasnt helped !
What am i doing wrong ???? :banghead:
im just curious if you are or have tried using nappy liners? maybe that could help a little?

I was going to suggest a liner, too.

I have pocket nappies so they dont need liners but i guess mayb i might have to for when this happens !
Will it come off the liners ? because my pockets either have the fleece or suede cloth material as the lining so i would assume its the same deal ?
I'd be getting a pack of the cheap disposable nappy liners...i think woolies homebrand ones are a bit over $1 for 100 liners. They can be a bit rough when you first take them out of the box, so I have been washing them before I use them...usually just chuck them in with the load of nappies/bubs clothes...they dry in about 5mins and then they are nice and soft :) They are cheap enough to just throw them out, but if you want to you can wash them a few times and re-use them.
Hope bubs gets better soon :)

I would, without a doubt, recommend you use liners. get some microfleece from spotlight and cut it up (about 15cm x 30cm) - no need to hem it, and lay that in the nappies. Cheap and reusable, and you can throw away when they get too well worn. Alternatively, find some eenee flushable liners - you can get them on line (http://www.cleverpants.com.au/shop/item.asp?itemid=6)or in shops (http://www.eenee.com.au/en-us/pg_26.html).
Now, it sounds like you have to strip the cream out, because basic laundry detergent cant get through these creams (air to allow their skin to breath & heal doesn't get through most of these creams - what are you using?)
Have a look at the OzClothNappies.Org FAQs page (stripping fleece) (http://www.ozclothnappies.org/info.html#strip) This advice might help you?
Let us know how you go.

I was going to suggest the cheapo liners too. I don't worry if I just have a bit of cream on the nappies, but it gets gross if there's alot.
