My fiance and I are thinking of moving to new zealand after bub is born.
Jobs for the partner are pretty common so work shouldnt be a issue.
Our biggest concern is leaving his 4 year old daughter with her mother. We are only looking at doing it for about a year and wanting her to come over for visits. The mother is very nice at the best of times and its worrying my partner so much trying to figure out what to do.
Any advice would be great!

What do you need advice with? Do you know where you're moving to? Will you need benefits?

Yes, what is you are asking for advice on the situation with the 4 year old or living in NZ? Anyway, I live in Auckland, NZ....most likely moving to Aussie this year though! Where are you moving to? Have to be honest and say its not often an Aussie moves to NZ its usually the other way around! but don't worry there are lots of great things about NZ like the beautiful land and country.

and the food :D

it will cost a fortune to send your DP's DD over by herself, i've knowen others in your situation and they get people to bring their children to them or then come back to the country they left to see them often
