View Full Version : Annual Pram Ribbon Morning Tea!! - WA
:flowerz: Put Sunday the 1st of June in your diary! :flowerz:
 Bub Hub Forum's 4th birthday!
All this talk about a national Bub Hub meet has turned into the next best thing - a day where Bub Hub members all over Australia can get together - same time, same day - and have morning tea! Bring your whole family and meet the people you chat to on a day-to-day basis.
We need a volunteer or two for each capital city and regional area to help me coordinate and organise. We can’t do it without help, so if you’re interested in being an official Bub Hub organiser, email me at razzle@bubhub.com.au now!
Hmmm Im thinking that might be a bit of a problem for a few of the WA bubhubbers as its actually a long weekend in WA that weekend and many families will probably have their own plans or be going away etc.
Or in my case (and of a few other bhers attending) recovering from my birthday party the night before.:D

Hopefully I can make it. Can someone PM me closer to the date incase I forget.
We're a definite possibility. So where are we meeting? Can I suggest Kings Park, Heathcote Reserve or Whiteman Park? They all have cafe's and they all have shade cloth so at least some of the play equipment might still be dry if it's raining.

All are great places! Any preferences anyone?
Im pretty sure the mods already have where we are going planned, we are just waiting to get the confirmation from them.
I think our best bet will be Kings Park, the Ivey Watson playground. There is shelter, a cafe, it is central for everyone and is right next to Kings Park Road, so is accessible by public transport. Being close to the city makes it as fair as possible for everyone.
Whiteman park is great, but it's a huge hike for people who live a long way south. Likewise, heathcote is great, but a long drive for those in the north.
Kings park is the best compromise.
Looking good girls! Kings Park is gorgeous. :)
I've put the date on my calendar. DH will be half way through a 4 week holiday, I think I'll be ready for a break from him by then.
OK Perthies. We need to start getting a list of names together and finalising plans.
Add your name to the list if you're coming.

Yeah come one Perthies...
What time is it going to be? I have five 6yr olds having a sleepover at our house the night before and I need to wait untill they've all been collected, which may not be until 10.30am. It takes us 40 mins to get to king park which means it will be 11.10 at the earliest that we can get there. Not sure.
It's at 10am. There is another thread here (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=178199):)

Is there any info on where it will be? If its not already set, could it possibly be somewhere where there is bus/train access really closeby?? I dont have access to a car....
also-can you go if you dont have any kids yet? I'll be about 7 1/2 months pregnant at the time....
Thanx :D
