Side effects from antis

Hi all,

I just started on anti-depressants last week and the past three days I have been really dizzy. It is a woozy feeling. I am on sertraline (that is the generic name I think, can't find the prescription to see what else it is called).

The doc gave me 100mg but said I can take half if I want, but I have been taking the one thing except for today.

Can I expect this to pass?

Any information appreciated.

Yes it should definitely pass within about a week. If it hasn't and you find you just can't operate on all cylinders, go back and see your Dr. You're dose could be too high, or that particular pill may not be suited to you. In the meantime take it easy while you're feeling a bit dizzy etc.

Yep, this happens to me when changing, increasing or decreasing meds. It should pass in a few days. I hope you're feeling better.
