An update on us and a bit more of an intro!

Looks like removal will be just before Mothers Day provided there is suitable housing. I am driving up there by myself with the kids so I should be there by mid may. Im super excited :yelclap:

Sooooo a bit more about us! Im 23 in July, my hubby is 26 in May (and feeling old just ask him lol). We have 2 boys, Jett who's 18.5mths and a ball of energy & Ripley who is 3mths old and just a ball :laughing: Hubby has been in the Army for 6 years, he was originally in the infantry and posted to Sydney where I met him at our local pub (yep classy arent we hehehe). Im an old hand at military life being Im an army brat. My Dad is still serving in Sydney. Uuuuum we like to have bbq's at our place but occasionally I like to escape into the real world with my friends for a bit of time out, as Im lucky enough to have a hubby who likes his kids AND will babysit them for me. I love to laugh and I prefer my friends honest and loyal. My pet peeve is negativity, which is why I only call my mother once a month :ecomcity: :raspberry: Im throwing in some pics of us so if you see us around when we get there dont hesitate to come over and introduce yourself in person!

Hey again Anna, Well about us..I am 25 in oct..almost half a century hehe! Hubby is 26 been in the army 9yrs first 2 postings were townsville then off home to perth for 2yrs now back here again...we love it! We have 2 sons, DS1 is 17mth and DS2 is 3wks 3 days hehe!!

Met my hubby through his brother..cliche' i know...we went to school together :D

We love home gatherings also and when im up to it will come out for sure...not ready to leave my bundle yet...
We love 4x4 driving.sadly they have built on most of our old tracks but hey just make your own......will have to finish this later bubba just woke up.....

Not much more to me im a sahm..who is contemplating going back to work but i would spend my whole wage on daycare sooooo...

Ah we'd love a posting to Perth as my DH is from there also but its buckleys chance of getting one which is why he's considering transfering to the airforce after his 6yr stint is up.
What did you used to do for work? Im a SAHM too, I havent worked since I met DH :o I like being at home with the kiddo's but once theyre in school Im going to go to Uni and finally get a degree, dont think hubby would let me get away with being a SAHM if there arent any kids at home lol

Here is our story...

I am 24 is July. My partner Brent is 31 is December. We've been togther for 7 years in May (OMG! It must be love! :eek:) I am a Student/Doula/SAHM and Brent works out at the Nickel Refinery just outside Townsville.

I am a Townsville girl born and bred and Brent is from Gilgandra (70k's from Dubbo) in Cetral NSW.

We have 2 girls. Briley who is 22 months and Colby who is 8 months.

Brent and I brought a farm just outside of Townsville not long after Briley was born. The girls love being outside with all the animals.

We too like to have gatherings at home but tend not to as I feel bad asking people to drive all the way up here!

Well that is pretty much us....

Looking forward to getting to know you and finally meet you!

BTW - I am starting those Yoga classes on the 15th! Still have'nt managed to talk anyone in to joining me so I will be holding you to your word once you move up here!!! :D

Im the oldie of the group... Im 31 and my hubby is 30, he will be 31 in May... We are having our first baby this Friday very exciting! We moved up here from Sydney a year ago...we too drove and came from Albury where we had been visiting family...it is a long drive but really great!

My hubby works at Ford as a New Car Sales Consultant and I am a teacher....though not at the moment! My BIL is in the RAAF and has just been posted back to Sydney so we know all about the military life!!!

It will be great to meet you when you get up here!!!!

I grew up an army brat and i was born and raised in townsviile. and dh has been in the army for nearly 8 years. jayden is 7 months old and new bub is due 3 days before jaydens first birthday.

i am working 3 days at the moment much to my bosses disgust and i start my new maternity leave on the 1st of june, much to my bosses disgust again. this time i want to spend as much time with jayden before new bub is born(we call pnut). and next year i have to decide whether i want to return to work. id rather not have to.

oh i had better get back to work. i am so not in the mood to do anything.

I'm Alicia and i'm 25 in December My DP Brendon is 30 in June, we have 2 kids Andrew 6yrs and Marissa 14 months and TTC#3 with no luck as yet.

We aren't Army at all hehe so cant help there, DP works for a concreting place and ATM i am doing nightfill at woolies but am looking into doing family daycare.

We moved up here in Nov last yr and love it.
I think of the girl here as great friends they are very welcoming so u will fit in just fine:yes:

Bit of a bumma u wont be here for the Mothers Day Dinner but we are planning at Girls night out for june maybe? Depending on when all the new mummies are feeling up to it.

Im Olivia. Im 26 and DH Ryan is 28. We have DD Elana 19months and DS Brendon 4 weeks. Im from Melbourne, joined the Army and ended up being posted to Townsville where I met DH on the HMAS Kannimbla. DH is from Ipswich, he was Army for 7 years, me 3 years. Both discharged now. My brother is also in the Army and currently in Iraq (well hes on leave at the moment traveling around europe, currently heading for Norway to see some girl he met in Prague, what a life, hehe) We just came back to Townsville after being in Perth for 2 years, but I was in Townsville for 3 years before that and DH 7 years. Been married for 5 years on the 28th of this month. Im currently a SAHM, not looking to go back to work yet as I want more kids. Kinda want 4 but will have to wait and see. We both love Townsville and also enjoy BBQs and just catching up with friends. Well that pretty much me, Im not really that interesting, hehe. Hope to meet you when you get up here.

Well, I'm 26 this month and Lyndon (DP) is 32, we have a wee girl Hannah who is 3 and a bit weeks old...

We're both from New Zealand but spent 9 mths in the Qld outback (town of 20) before moving to Townsville in December - we're both really enjoying it so far!!! (and we survived the summer!) We used to entertain quite a bit but are "making do" with minimal house stuff cause all our stuff is still stored in NZ until we decide what we want to do.

I'm a chartered accountant and very much missing my work and Lyndon's a boilermaker... don't know when I'll return to work, this SAHM thing is a huge change and to be honest I'm not sure I'm made for it... will just have to wait and see some more.
