Who do you do your training with?

I was wondering with WHO you are doing your doula courses with and if you are happy with it so far.
I have had a look at Optimum Birth and an Us based one, I can't decide....

I went thru OB, they are FANTASTIC!!! i loooved the course, and its cheaper then the other one (always a good bonus!!)

I have gone thru Optimum Birth and CBI. The OB modules are really well presented and full or great info. It is much cheaper and faster to complete. The CBI course costs more but is also well worth the money. It is much more in depth and requires a little more to complete like book reviews etc.

Both are fantastic and will get you on the way to becoming a fantastic Doula

I did CBI and like jaqued I found it was definitely more indepth than Optimum Birth (which I looked into fairly closely as well).

I really loved the course and by the time I finished it I felt really well prepared. I did it over about 9 months but you could do it faster than that - at the time I had a fairly new baby that didn't sleep much :hissy:

Really great support with CBI too, that continues after you finish. If you ever need anything they're always there. Highly recommend them :D
