Hi
Just wanted to find out if anyone has had any experience with a particular brand of baby formula that is more kind to babies with eczema? I am particularly interested in anyone who has used Karicare HA or Nan with Bifidus. My six month old has had eczema for some time now but it has only recently become a bit more severe.

Is it possible that one is better than the other for your DC, esp if he/she is allergic or intolerant to milk or soy and it is contributing to the eczema. Only soy or elecare/ neocate will help with a milk allergy or intolerance. If no milk allergy or intolerance then any formula should be ok. If soy allergy or intoelrance then no soy formula
Good luck

We swapped to nan ha gold from normal formula as suggested by the paediatrician dermatalogist we saw regarding her eczema and it helped a little. But the main thing to beat eczema is finding the triggers and then eliminating them from you bub. So get allergy tests done for your bub as soon as you can :). Plus they can grow out of it. DD has thankfully.
