are you aloud to choose to be induced on your due date if labour hasnt showed itself yet? and if so have you done it? what was your storey

its not something im going to do its pure curiosity :)

If you have private health yes, otherwise you would need to have a medical reason for wanting to be induced on your due date. I think they offer it around 5 days after your due date and generally dont let you go more than 10 days over. In saying this though, every Dr and hospital are different. But you dont have options like induction when you want or elective C section etc in public - bed and birth suites are limited.
