help we are going away for easter and i am looking for a travel high chair for my dd who is 8 months old. she hates feeding in the pram and is too wriggly for holding on laps and trying to feed. does anyone know where i can get a cheap travel high chair or something that will do the job. does anyone have one that i could borrow for a weekend?
Have you seen the ones that self inflate? Target has the Safety First brand ones and Big W sells one that is basically the same...it's their own baby brand, can't remember the name of it.
It straps onto a normal dining chair and when you are finished using it it folds down and zips back to the size it was when you bought it.
DS has used one since he was about 12mths old. It only has a 3point harness and a low back so may not be any good if bub still has trouble sitting.
Forgot to add...I think they are around $30 - $40
I got one from Big W, it was about $30. Its a booster seat - there's an inflatable seat cushion for extra height and straps that go around the back and seat of a chair. So hard to describe..... made by Baby Gear, and it's in a black box.

That's the Big W one I was thinking of :) I paid about $50 for the Safety First brand one when DS was little coz the Baby Gear one wasn't around back then.

Hi there!
I have a fantastic travel high chair....it is called Cushy Baby Seater. It is a red fabric and it slides onto back of a chair and bub straps in firmly. It is so great for dining out too.
It is so small when folded in it's pouch that it would fit in your glove box!!
RRP is $38.95.
I'm not sure of stockists though.....
cheers
Have a look at this page... there is an 'outdoor baby' booster chair that is similar to the one's I mentioned, it has a 5point harness tho and the Target/Big W ones only have a 3point.
There is also a 'BABOZ portable baby chair harness' that looks similar to what oscarsmilkbar has...I hope it is anyway...

We got a high chair/seat which has a brace that attaches to tables. It was from KMart for around $25 which we have used now for two kids over a 2 and 1/2 year period.
You can use it just about anywhere, once on a long car trip we attached to a picnic table at the side of the road where we stopped for lunch
I think the brand is called Baby Time.............

I originally bought the Safety First self-inflate ones and found it really dangerous as it doesn't have table (something to so bubs can bang on, put food on) and she kept on leaning side to side and rocking back and forth and twice she nearly hit the ground. We returned that one and got our money back. We bought a Safety 1st Plastic one that doesn't inflate but very portable (I keep it in the back of my car) and has a tray for bubs food or toys etc. I love it and its excellent and DD has never ever ever fallen out
