The right time to ttc?

Hi there! Im basically thinking outloud here and overanalyzing things but....

Im having some doubts about the timing of ttc #2. Ds is 10 months, and Ive always wanted the kids to be close together. The thing is that my Dh is in university now and he wont be finished until March next year. I originally wanted to start ttc in March (now!) but weve decided to wait til april- edd approx Jan sometime. But then is that going to be too hard for my DH to study with a newborn?

My issues are that Im 35 this year, so I kinda want to pop out the babies younger rather than older :laughing:. And theres no guarantee that Im going to fall pregnant right away any way- it could take ages! (DS took 2cycles tho). ANd Dh wants 3, so if thats the case, Im feeling the pressure....

I know it would only be 3 more months to wait to have a due date of March 09, but I am feeling impatient to ttc!!!!!! It does seem a big issue right now. See- I said I was over analysing....

so should I start ttc or wait ttc that is the question:rolleyes:

Ikwym. I would wait a bit so that the studies are finished and then there is less pressure on all of you.
Also your dh will find it easier to help you out with your older child if his studies are behind him. I'm thinking that because when we had our second child our older one needed to adjust to the new addition.
IMO wait a tiny bit longer & You will have the best of both worlds that way.

I would go for it now, but that is coming from a crazy clucky chick who just lurves babies:D

My first two were 19months apart, and it was a great age gap. No jealousy issues, and my eldest was still having a day sleep.

Yep, I would start now, you may not get pregnant right away.
