OK, this is weird.

DH and I have just started TTC #2. I have been checking my cervical position for signs of O etc, and am pretty used to being able to reach it easily and having it quite low down.

Well, my period is due, not sure if I am UTD or not. I just decided to check the postition of my cervix and (TMI coming) I could hardly stick my fingers up there- It is all swollen! And when I did finally locate cervix it was tucked away so tight and high it was really weird.

Not sure if this is because AF is coming or because i could be UTD.... OK got it all out lol

I have no advice im just curios.
This may sound stupid, since i am a woman and have had 2 children i should know.
But howdo you check your cervix obviosly with your fingers but is it far up and what should it feel like?
thanks!!

know exactly ehat you mean. When AF was due my cervix was soooo low you barely had to go "looking" but with this bubba it never got lower than half way and sorta felt hardish. Sounds like a good sign to me * GOODLUCK * :goodvibes: :babydust2: :babydust2: :goodvibes:

Unfortuntely every woman is different with cervical position...which is why it isnt a really useful way to diagnose pregnancy. My cervix is always high and hard and swollen before af, and I dont know what it was like during pregnancy, but eventually it is supposed to be high soft and closed....however, this may not happen until well into the first trimester if pregnant, so at the end of the day, the best way to check for pregnancy is test. Good luck! :)
