The BT Results are in......

Well girls I harassed them again at 5pm & receptionist was annoyed that my GP hadn't got back to me, so she said, I'm going to get him to look at it now & will phone back straight away. I said GOOD! thanks!

She phoned back & said, got good news... you're POSITIVE!!!! :smiliedance: :cloud9: :D :yelclap:

I was so like wow, really?! I was all expecting it was a negative, so it was lovely to hear now you're positive. AH! so excited & had to phone my sister, DH, parents & best friend straight away. Of course they're all over the moon for me. YAY!!!!

Not sure how many weeks, but GP calculated yesty that I'd be due approx 1st December.

Wow... i can't believe DH & I did it. There was someone out there listening to my prayers.
I so had a feeling it would take 6 months & be PG by Xmas 2008. My psychic abilities are working then ;-) hehe

So, thank you so very much for listening/reading all my posts & I am now hoping this lil one stays stuck to me for the next 9months!!

Lots of baby dust to all you TTCing out there... esp the longer than 6month girls.

AAAAWWWWW thank you so much ladies! It is lovely to have so many congrats & well wishes. It made me a bit teary.

I am now praying that it will be safe & homely in my tum for the next 9 months. DH went thru many miscarriages with his ex-DF, so he is very cautious about being excited. He said, he doesn't want to get his hopes up, just in case. He is happy, but don't want to go overboard with excitement. I can fully understand this, so there is no pressure from me at all. I'll be very excited for the both of us. :)

I wish all the ladies still TTCing a very positive April... i have a feeling a few of you will be seeing 2 lines this month. So, you'll have some new year babes around. Wishing you all the best & make sure you're enjoying the BDing ;)

PB do you have to fast before you get a BT or doesn't it matter?

i think you are meant to have eaten cause i had mine last night and she asked if i had eaten and I said yes and she ticked a box.

some people get too faint and stuff if they havent eaten maybe

Like if you are meant to fast, and I didn't, she probably wouldn't do the test.

At first I'll say I had something to eat, and if she says you are meant to fast, I will say I ate about 2 hours ago.

Is that enough time?

No I didn't have to fast. I ate my breakfast before I went to the docs, & then got the BT at the same office. I dont' think fasting would be good... i think eating is good for testing or something like that.

I work in Path, and you don't need to fast for a hcg test.
