lh surge

Hi to all
im new to posting but not new to ivf journey have been following you all for about a year
my question is im testing for ovulation for a natural fet cycle this morning 8am i got a faint line but not as dark as the control line tonight at 6pm i got an exact line like control line i will test again am tomorrow and call my clinic does this mean today is ovulation day or tomorrow if it is the same
some advice would be great thanking you all in advance and good luck :)

Hi! The surge in LH 'triggers' ovulation so I would think that if you got your dark line tonight then 'o' would happen in the next 24hours. Don't quote me on that though, your clinic can confirm in the morning when you call. If you're worried that it was today, you needn't, I would think that the clinic will confirm with bloods or a scan and then time the transfer accordingly.

My LH surge was today, well this mornings bloods picked it up and my FET will occur on Saturday. It would be cool if you have cleaved embryo transfer on Saturday 'with' me then we can both have an EDD of Xmas day!!

are day 2 embies cleaved?
if so a xmas due date would be the most wonderful gift ever

Which FS are you seeing hun? I usually have a BT after I have a surge but sometimes they don't need one especially if the line is a dark line. I am keeping my fingerscrossed for your Christmas baby xoxox:babydust2: :fingerscrossed:

my fs is geoff clarke but i dont see much of him just the clinic staff i spend a bit of time out at epping also

I go to Epping too!! So much easier than driving to east melb hey!! The nurses are really nice there too.:flowerz:

wow maybe we have crossed paths i dont go to east melb i go to the womens but much easier for me at epping as i work out that way

As the others have said, LH surge indicated Ovulation in the next 24 hours.....I'd say you'll get an even darker line in the morning and then Ovulate later in the day tomorrow or Friday.

Hi Marlin - O should take place in about 24 hours like everone else said :) I thought i would let you know that I saw Geoff Clarke as well at the womens - he is the one who got the ball rolling for me and when it took a few goes he actually apologised to me :laughing: We both knew it wasnt his fault but he was really great about it all and the nurses at the womens were great too.

clinic rang and said go for scan fri morning lh was detected in blood (maybe not enough)
everything points to ovulation hope tomorrow they can confirm
its really frustrating
i just want to get on with the cycle i hope they dont cancel:hair:

yah after another blood test and scan this morning finally they confirmed i ovulated on thursday it wasnt clear cut and looked like being cancelled:no:
so going in for fet saturday 5th

all went well today
i had 1 transferred so it would have to split for me to get twins quite possible im praying that it implants this is my 6th transfer and its hard getting all those negatives
