How much do you pee a day??

I have started keeping a pee/fluid intake diary purely out of boredom and hopefully so one day I will see a massive jump in my peeing which will OF COURSE be an early PG sign!!

I was quite surprised how much I wee in a day, if someone had asked me before today how much I went I would say 2-3 times day. But not including at home since I have been at work I have been 5 times!! I have had 2 large glasses of water and 2 pepsi max (yes I know its naughty but I need it) so does it really warrant all that peeing?

Anyway I just wondered how often others go, it could be quite normal and i could always go that much but have never paid attention before

Hey MM, atm I blow your peeing out of the water. Lately I've been going nearly every hour & I need to get up at least once during the night. So far today it's been at least 7 times.

Yeah I prob got about 5 times at work. Then b4 & after work it depends on what I'm doing & where I am. I'd say on average 10 times a day. I drink nearly 2 lts of water a day, plus glass of juice 4 breakfast & lunch, then either lemon squash or something else for dinner. So, that does keep me going to the loo!

how much are you drinking? I have only been "tracking" it today but I am wondering if my peeing is commensurate with my fluid intake.

I can't get enough fluid in at the moment though am ALWAYS thirsty!!!

well i pee anywhere from 10 times to 30 i have an overactive bladder though. it has settled down for the last couple months but for about 6 months was every 5 to 15 mins my urologist said i peed more then a preg lady :laughing: so glad thats stopped now prolly wee every 30mins to an hour

Before pregnyl i would pee about 15 times a day.... pregnyl makes me dehydrated and now i only go about 5 times!

i dont :laughing: nah its not too bad i try hold on for as long as possible but if i gotta go i gotta. we live 30-40 mins outta town depending on the weather when it was really bad dp would have to pull up so i could pee on the side of the road and 99% of the time it was not even a trickle but you feel like you are going to pee your pants i was on vesicare for a while which helped but i had to come off that when we started ttc thankfully my body hasnt gone back to being that retarded again. least i am prepared for pregnancy :laughing:

I am the big brunt of the joke when we go 4wding with out friends, they all put bets on how long it will be before I have to pee.....

I don't mind because we have some girls in our group that just refuse to pee in the wild ( as I call it) they hold on all day...

So when I get back in the car I get on our cb radio and go " aaaaahhhhh that is so good" silly girls trying to hold it in:laughing:

I can't hold on for very long, when I gotta go I gotta go. Plus I find if I do hold on for too long I end up with a UTI.

i have always had the issue that it doesnt matter if I pee before I leave work (previously school) the MOMENT i see my house in sight my bladder starts to burn and I can barely make it up the stairs in the front door round all the animals scrabbling at me to the loo on the otherside of the house without wetting myself.

Have ALWAYS done it. I have perfected the tight knees together geisha-like shuffle down the hallways

i'll pee in the middle of the road if i have to :laughing: i have no prob peeing in the bush was born and raised in the bush though, however i take tissues in my bag and hand sanitizer:o i dont drip dry

I am also the brunt of jokes... I pee A LOT... Not as much as I used to though... I was monitoring it at one stage and went about 15 - 20 times a day! Now I'd say I go a max of 10 times...

we were on holiday last month and I heard her saying to my husband as I rushed past them to the loo "she has ALWAYS done that" I could hear her rolling her eyes too I am sure of it!!!

when a girls gotta go shes gotta go!!!! I was in the navy and have been known to pee hanging my butt off the side of the boat and holding on to the chain rail for dear life in choppy water!!!!

ah nah i can pee anywhere, I just ALWAYS feed the need urgently approximately 500 metres from home even if i have been just 10 mins ago at work.

but seriously it is an actual medical disorder and can be fixed. that is if you have the urge to go frequently but cant like its a trickle, if you get up more then once at night, i used to pee up to 5 times a night :hair: so if its really bad go get checked.

I think mine is psychological...I can go for hours without peeing then metres away from safety it becomes a life threatening emergency.

dh has given up trying to kiss me when i come in the front door, he just opens it for me takes whatever I am carrying then stands aside.....

I remember when I was a little girl anytime I went to the hospital to visit people I'd always have to pee & very urgently. I do remember it was when I visit ppl that had just had babies, so may be I was feeling all those urges to pee hehe

It is very healthy for you to pee more than I'd say 5 times a day. Just think of all the yucky toxins you're getting outa your system. Also if you're drinking a lot of water, it helps to flush out all your insides & it makes my skin look so good!

I've got IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) & if i'm having a bad day with that, I'll be peeing more often. basically cause my bowel is inflamed & pushing on my ovaries, which the pain can move to my bladder area, hence feeling the need to pee more.

pb same with me i have crohns disease and when i am having a bad day my bowel pushes onto my uterus and bladder, when i had the cystoscopy they found inflammation in my bladder which they said was from the crohns trying to attach my bladder and bowel glad to know i'm not the only one

I'm probably more worried about having to poo then wee. We DH & I went to Canada all I was worried about is if they had lots of public toilets for when I needed to poo!

okay i just went 1hr30without peeing and it was dire...nearly wet myself on the walk there. I did have another glass of water in that time so 1.5hrs was pretty good for me to hang out.

It's so bad when you're really busting & you can't use your hands to help you hold on. Everytime I do that my DH cracks up & asks the obvious "are you busting, why do you wait so long to go?" He never gets a reply as I flash straight past him, still holding on & then try to grapple with the door handle with one hand & the other still holding on & trying to undo my pants at the same time.
