Well i'm new here so i thought that i'd post a little bout myself! Sooooooooooo glad that i found this place! I've gotta say i haven't really got much work done since finding it!
I'm 26 years old and have just decided to start trying for a baby with my partner!! Well we have been practising for a few months but now i thought i'd start looking into it a bit more cause in all honesty i spent most of my earlier years trying not to fall pregnant and now i'm trying it doesn't seem so easy! Don't mean to sound like a whinger cause i know people on here have been trying for a lot longer than me and all i've got to say is the strength you guys have is amazing :yelclap:!! just reading a lot of people's diff posts has cheered me up!:D
I guess the main question i have is apart from the obvious what else can i do to help my chances in falling! My doctor found a small bit of endometrosis last month and that has really knocked me about!
Sorry for the rant and rave! Looking forward to posting and hopefully eventually having good news! :bfp:

Welcome!
Hope you don't have to wait too long before you fall PG.
There are lots of info out there... just will take a while decifing. BubHub has a good are for trying to conceive, so def check that out.
Otherwise, just google trying to concieve & you'll have lots to choose from.
The most obvious is diet, health, cycle & Oing. Once you figure these out, you should be pretty right on your way to getting a bub.
Good luck! :fingerscrossed: :babydust2::babydust2:

Hi littleoldme.
Firstly, hope your stay here is short. And hopefully you can enjoy just trying for a baby and not get too obsessed with looking for signs, and predicting ovulation, planned intercourse etc. It takes all the joy out of baby making and can really effect your relationship.
However if you have been trying for a while without luck and need some tips, there are a few things you can try.
Signing up with a program like Fertility Friend, and charting your temperature and other signs can really help you get to know your body, how it works and your fertile signs.
Other things which help are
Green Tea, around 2 cups per day for the first two weeks of your cycle it really helps with your health in general and with producing good quality fertile cervical mucus.
Taking a good multivitamin like Elevit or Blackmores Concieve Well Gold, and extra supplements if you have a deficiency (make sure you have a pre-conception blood test) common supplements include Iron, Magnesium, extra Folate, B6.
Vitex (chaste tree berry) and Maca Root are good at helping balance hormones.
Acupuncture and chinese herbs can be of assistance too.
and of course regular exercise and a good balanced diet.
Hi Littleoldme and welcome to bubhub!
I think because you've just started out the best thing you can do is work out when your ovulating, you can do this loads of ways but im lazy and just use OPK's which work for me! Then just B'd as much as possible for the few days around O. KittyKatz has offered some good advice and im currently trying the chinese meds and acupuncture - i don't know if they'll help me get my BFP but its definitely destressing me and my hormones feel well balanced for the first time in years!!
I hope you get your BFP soon, good luck and enjoying trying!! :)
Hi Littleoldme
I am too 26 (27 this year) and my clock has started to tick! My partner and I have also decided to start trying so after coming off the pill and waiting for the first cycle after we are now on our journey...
I have been on the pill for many years and had to spent all the time trying to avoid pregnancy... now it's what we're after.
:babydust2: to you! Where abouts are you from?
