View Full Version : 'H' Harness trouble...
I recently bought a H Harness to use with a booster seat for my son...
I went to put it in yesterday, and it just doesn't fit? The Harness is far too lose, and I have the tether tightened as far as possible?
I am using it in a VW Golf, so the anchor point is just at the top of the seat... seems too close or something?
Any suggestions on how to solve this? As far as I can see, I think I am just going to have to buy a whole new car seat?
I know.....put Bodhi in the front passenger seat:D
TO everyone else....I am joking.....:detective:
Oh there you are! I tried to ask you last night, but you were gone :( How dare you have a life!
So, do you have any serious answers?
Haha...hmm, it sounds weird....you woiuwld htink there would be another anchor point in the boot....hmm
Haha, Oh and I dont have a life...I was asleep!
Any one else got a suggestion?? :D
I had the same problem when installing one in a VW Bora.
We had to get the Protecta Harness instead as this is adjustable on the front. It costs a little more than the basic H. Around $59.95.
I was also told by the Red Cross (who I went to for help) that I should have got that harness with my seat anyway. (Infa Vario Kid Booster)
Hope that helps :)
There should be 2 different sets of loops. One at the bottom & one above the - bit of the H. Does that make sense? I'm fairly sure you can put the belt through the top set, but you'd have to check the instructions.
