It is so nice to finally see no official movement by the reserve bank for at least this month.
Not so good news is there still is a couple of banks lifting by a small margin over and above the reserve bank. I know of two that have lifted by 10 basic points (.1%) and this may continue for a little while.
I know there is a great deal of concern out there at the moment, not only for home buyers, home owners, and of course renters.
We have had it so good for such a long time with the boom in property prices. There are always peaks and troughs (ups and downs) in the market and if we go back to our parents time when they bought there homes some of them were paying up to 17.95%. I hope that we never ever see this again, as now mortgages are so much higher now than then.
If you are finding it tough, please look at your budget and if you need help please seek out good financial advise from a Financial Advisor.
Can't wait for the day that they come down again.
