A fair few O questions

I felt bad for hi-jacking someone elses thread, so I thought I would make my own.

I'm just going to copy and paste what I put in there.

I thought I O'd yesterday as I believed it was a positive, so we BD. I did another test tonight just to see, and it was still dark. A little darker then yesterdays. So now I assume that I O'd today, but I had the pains pretty full on yesterday.

When did I O?
And if it was today and I BD yesterday and I didn't notice any EWCM, do I still have a chance?
I had a big splurt of CM a few hours before we BD, but it wasn't stretchy or anything. It wasn't the thick lotion type either.

I know that I took them at different times, but oh well.

Please also keep in mind that the one I did yesterday is a little faded because it's dry. The one I did tonight is still a little fresh.

Generally, when you get the first positive OPK you will ovulate somewhere within the next 24 hours, so it's best to BD that day and for a few more days afterwards too.

It sounds like you have a good chance of catching the eggie :fingerscrossed:

But we BD last night when I THOUGHT it was positive, only to find that I soooo have a positive today instead!

DP and I can't BD tonight because we don't live together yet and I don't know when I see him next because he has cr@ppy work hours.

I know sperm can live for 3-5 days, but I don't know if my 'inside' conditions are good enough for them to live that long.

I was so happy before, but now I'm sad :(


And I haven't been taking my temp very regularly so it's a bit hard to tell.

Well BD'ing 1 day earlier will most likely be fine. They suggest doing that if you want a girl anyway :)

But if I get a positive OPK the day after I O, and a positve means you will O within 24-36hrs, I may infact have BD a few days early. Yeah?

A little off topic...

All of those chinese gender calenders say I can only conceive a boy in January! Only 1 month!

A little upsetting seeing as though I would LOVE a little boy first.




As for O...I think I may have missed it.

I had the really sharp pains on CD18 which was the day before and a little bit after the day I THOUGHT I O'd. But the positive didn't come up until late CD19.

I had no real noticeable EWCM, except for that little spurt I had, but it wasn't stretchy. I highly doubt the swimmers could survive in there for 3-5 days.

I'm so upset!
