View Full Version : STARTING THE JOURNEY TO LOSE 50 Kilos-need a mentor
Hi Im about to embark on a weightloss journey but it seems like such a big number its so daunting.
I need motivation encuragement and support I need a menotur
Do you think you could be my mentor, be my virtual trainer, maybe if I have to report to someone Ill be more motivated and do it.
also any ideas of a diet plan??
OK so I just looked up my ideal weight for my height and I think 50 kilos would turn me into a stick
so here we go 30 KILOS TO LOSE
A great book that I have read is AJ Rochester's "The Lazy Girl's Guide to Losing Weight and Getting Fit"
She is the host of the Biggest Loser and she has lost 45kg. She breaks it down into 5kg blocks so as not to get overwhelmed and she has great suggestions to how to get excercise and healthy eating into your day.
It's a fun and inspiring read and I guess knowing that she has actually been there and done that herself is motivating.
Good luck :) and I guess the most important tip I have and one you will find in AJ's book is - start today!!!
I can be your accountability partner if you like. Definatley baby steps. I am 16kgs into a 35-40kgs weight loss and there is no stopping me.. You can do it :D
Good luck and im happy to chat and follow you along in your weight- loss journey.
I lost 28kg 18mths ago and worked at Jenny Craig for several years giving me a sound knowledge of exercise and eating. I also trained as a international Cheerleader.
ok guys here is the link to my thread please go there
My Journey starts here
You can do it!!! How tall are you? I started out at 106kg and now I'm 59kg and a keen runner
My best advice would be don't focus on the weight and scales- aim for fitness and remember a healthy body equals a healthy mind!
hi Mods Would You Mind Closing This Thread As I Have A New More Permanent One Thanks Heaps Guys
