TTC while breastfeeding questions

Hi all,

Just wondering if you lovely ladies can help me out again.

My DH and will be starting to TTC #2 next cycle and I am a little concerned about some bleeding I've been having mid cycle. I got my AF back at 6 months and it's been regular at 34days every month since (used to be 28days). the bleeding is very light (mainly with CM) and is on and off over a week.

Anyone else had this while BF? My DS is still BF very often could this be the cause? Do you think it will hinder conception?

I am not in your situation but I know that your body secretes a hormone called Prolactin while BF'ing and that can decrease your chances of conceiving. I had high prolactin levels, but it was due to stress (back to normal now). My FS checked for this hormone while he was doing a BT for all my hormone levels as we are TTC.
