Ok...

My laundry is a communal laundry where I live and is all the way downstairs and around the corner... which with a lil man in tow is a pain when I have nappies to rinse. So my nappy bucket is in the bathroom and at the moment the process is emptying in the loo and then washing the rest in the bath... and then scrubbing the bath after every nappy! :dizzy: PAINFUL!!!

So I am thinking of investing in a Lil Squirt!

Who else has one and how much easier or better are they? What are they like to install... as I know nothing about plumbing and don't want to end up flooding the house haha.

Can anyone fill me in before I go spend a lot of money and get one!

Best thing I've ever brought! With the way my child does her stuff in her nappy, I wouldn't have continuted cloth without it. :D

I love it and not for just nappies!

Now i've got one I'd have bought it just for cleaning the toilet. It's got all the muck out from under the rim and my toilet no longer smells!

Why not just get one now? They are quick and easy to install and remove. You can just take it with you when you go!

I want a little squirt.

DS is a MAJOR blueberry fan, so his poos can get pretty gross.

How do you clean them off without a little squirt?

I have to scrape them then rinse them, and it is GROSS!!!!

Is there alot less..handling, with a little squirt?

I have to scrape them off with loo paper! :barf: and then rinse them off!!!

From what I have read there is!!! Anything has to be better than how I've been doing it for the past year lol.

I haven't used a little squirt as our toilet is hooked up to our dam so it isn't an option, but I do use what my mum used to use-a big butter knife!
I keep it on a high shelf next to the toilet and use it to scrape the contents of the nappy into the toilet and then wipe it clean with the nappy. I then drop the nappy in the bucket in the laundry and go back to wash the knife and my hands.
It's a really simple system. :)

the little squirt rocks!!! and yes they are easy to install, uninstall and then reinstall (in a new house!) just did that ourselves!

apart from the bad days when i am just an uncoordinated mess, i never have splash back issues, just got to make sure you point the thing into the loo and not else where!

my dh also loves it, he was impressed the second it was installed and has even initiated a water fight with it (not a happy mummy !!! im the one that got little squirted!!) and the water managed to make it quite a distance! (our new house has better water pressure - so apart from having major splash back the first time i used it, im guessing if dh decideds to be a moron again it will easily drown me! lol) anyway - tasd bit off track there!

over all we love the little squirt and i cant imagine life with out it - well actually i can - did a week of it during the move! - sadly it was bad enough to turn me back to sposies for the move!:banghead:

You know what I did Cass.. I bought one of those cheap shower attachment hoses for about 5 dollars. Cut the head off, attached it to the laundry sink and then just 'crinsed' it to make the water spray at a high pressure... (you know what I mean? Like when you're hosing the garden and you squeeze the hose to make the water pressure harder?????) have no idea if i'm making sense....

OR you could just buy a garden hose head, one of those ones that you can change from 'mist' to 'hard core pressure stream' and attach that to you bathroom sink, so you can rinse it all off into the toilet.

do you know how long it has taken us to get this house to show home condition......no way am i messing with anything :laughing:

seriously though, its more of the hassle of it, we are going out of this house into another and then into another and :ecomcity: as much as i want one i don't want anything extra to carry along and think about. so for now i will just make do without
